ACFT Event 4: SPRINT-DRAG-CARRY (SDC)

Safety Tips:

  • Avoid jerking straps or slinging the sled while dragging.
  • Prevent crossing feet during lateral movements.
  • Make a controlled turn after you pick up the kettlebells to head back.

Execution Steps:

  • Sprint:

    • Sprint back and forth for 25m, touching the ground with your foot and hand at the 25m mark each time.
    • Grader may call time if line touch is incomplete.
  • Drag:

    • Pull the sled backwards to the 25m line, then drag it back.
    • Grader may call back if sled does not entirely cross lines.
  • Lateral:

    • Do a lateral on the way down, touch, and return.
    • Grader ensures foot alignment and prevents crossing.
  • Carry:

    • Grab the kettlebells, run around to the 25m line, touch it, and bring them back.
    • Switch hands on the down and back, except on return when no hand off is required.
    • Resume carry from where the kettlebells were dropped, at the grader's discretion.
  • Final Sprint:

    • Run 25m, touch the 25m line, and run back to finish.

Scoring:

  • Time is stopped when the Soldier crosses the start line after the final sprint.
